Free Kfon Connections
There is a plan by Kerala Government to provide free internet connection to some under privileged citizens of the state. The criterion for becoming eligible for a free kfon connection is not yet finalized. Even though, those who are holding a ration card of BPL category (Below Poverty Line) are shortlisted as the initial beneficiaries.
The Kerala Government made a statement that the internet is a basic right of every people. Those who were finding internet connection as a non-affordable things so far, will be provided the same without any charges based on their eligibility.
